You can click on your name next to inbox and alerts to see a menu pop up underneath personel details on the left column there is a thing that says signature, there you can set a picture or phrase as what it shows underneath every thread or comment you post. Like my picture of Wario I made in Gmod. You click the little picture next to the emoticon button in the signature setting page and you copy and paste the image link there.

Unfortunately, a technical limit isn't really possible. Devices can't actually tell how big a signature is on screen, only what's in it. And ten pictures could be just as easily tiny as enormous.
