Yeah but it barely has a use for me at the moment. Theres just nothing exclusive im interested in atm exept Odyssey and Smash when its out

Well, you'll definitely find this pretty stupid, but I'm still a teenager. A minor. So I can't really buy things for myself yet.

I can't ask my parents either, for reasons, so yeah.

My brothers and I are teens. But maybe my oldest sis and her hubbub will get us one for Christmas like they did an Xbox 360 and Xbox One. (Not in the same year. I think two years apart.) Maybe.
 
I dont have the money to flat out buy a switch right now. I could save up for one, but its a hard thing to be motivated to do.

Im also more into retro gaming these days, theres so many games from the past that I never had the chance to play, that I dont really need the newest console to play new games. Im getting my first ps1 ever for xmas this year and I hope to play some of the jrpgs I missed out on.

Im certain Id really like the switch, dont get me wrong. I hope to one day own it. But theres still a ton of games on older consoles I wanna play still too, so I just dont feel a need to ditch older consoles for newer ones.
 
I have one. The portability alone makes it my preferred console of choice whenever they manage to put a whole game on a cartridge rather than making me download stuff. It will also be my main method of playing some digital-only games that might not get a physical release, though I still go for physical whenever I can.

That's not to say it doesn't have its drawbacks, since online play seems poor at the moment, and the eShop could use better organization, but aside from that, I'll happily keep playing, at least while its generation is still going.
 
I have one and I won't lie, I sincerely like my Wii U, but the Switch is just such a better piece of hardware and has such a much better rate of releases, I got mine near christmas of last year and I already have more games on it then I usually do in my first year of owning a system (and it's not even all the ones I'm interested in) :

+Mega Man 11, but that one's digital, since Europe didn't get a physical release *grumble*.
 
I do! While I did get a wii U, I decided to get a switch when odyssey came out. So far so good. I wouldn't even compare it to the wii U though, they each have their pros and cons. IMO Wii U is an amazing console for co-op games and emulation. 3D World is one of my top games ever. Had an amazing time playing through it with my friend.

I'm happy with Warioware Gold on 3DS..that being said I'd pay good $$$ for a new wario game on the switch (hopefully Wario Land!).
