Does anyone miss the toys or souvenirs?

In the older WarioWare games like Twisted and Touched?

Because to me, it feels like the quality and quantity of these things has gone down a lot over time. WarioWare: Gold's got some neat mini games and stuff, but the majority are things like collectable cards and telephone codes. Get It Together mostly replaces it with gifts for characters, which is nice for leveling up, but not all that fun to play around with. And uh, I don't think Move It has anything of the sort.

I am quite fond of those little gadgets, I like how in-depth some of them got to basically be extra minigames, unrelated to the microgames. A game I played before WarioWare was Mario Party Advance, which featured similar toys under the name "Gaddgets" (I wonder who made them?) that did various silly things. I think the next WarioWare is due for a "silly toy collection" comeback!

I totally get the nostalgia for those quirky in-game collectibles. I've been adding to my collection with Super Mario toys, and they are a great throwback. They really bring back that classic vibe, especially since they come with cool playsets and plush toys. It's an entertaining way to relive the playful charm from those older games.

As much as I love Golds minigame selection (two pyoros, MEWTROID 1 AND 2 and the best of the best minigame I could create an entire thread about because im this in love with it and I want a full fledged downloadable version of it on like switch or something, MEMORY MATCH)... yeahhh the doodads are kind of whatever and it doesnt have that great of a variety. but really the side modes are so important to any Warioware game and the gadgets were just very cute shallow additions that always tickle my brain when I replay, say Warioware touched again. I still feel like its partly the reason why I love Game and Wario so much, it just has sooo much stuff to screw around with!! Move it having none of that was such a dissapointment but to be honest Smooth Moves didnt have that either but I didnt mind that because Smooth Moves had really good minigames, Move it did not I didnt love a single one tbh, Dirty job kinda stinks.
