Does anyone prefer the style of the first two Wario Land games?

You know, Super Mario Land 3 and Virtual Boy Wario Land? Where Wario got caps as power ups and explored more linear levels in Mario style?

I don't myself, but I wouldn't be surprised if at least one person here did. So yeah, anyone?

I dunno. It wasn't bad at all, but it just felt like a sluggish Mario game. I think that the shoulder bash was handled better in II and later games. And the time limit and exploration aspects of the game didn't really blend well IMO.

Also, I'm talking about SML3, not VB. 'Cause I never played VB.

I really liked SML3. The other entries are more unique, though.
But I'd love a game on 3ds in the style of virtual boy Wario Land. And I don't mean a remake, I mean an entirely new game. But with the same mechanics as the first two games.

If I had to choose between the two in terms of style I'd pick VB Wario Land. I really like how Wario looks in this game.
