Since Antonblast is 2 weeks away, What're you hoping to see in this upcoming Wario Land inspired game? Small thing I'd love to see, is have a bizarre sound room like in Wario Land 4 but in Anton's own style.

I think just more puzzle and exploration focused and removing the WL4 part where you race back to the start of the stage. I don't know if they would've kept the part where you can't die like WL2 and 3. It would star the other characters like Danton, Nina, or Brulo.

What I'm really hoping for is this game having good level design. The main problem with fast pace gameplay is that it's hard to make fun levels without making them unfair or too easy. The physics can be as fun as they want to be but if the level design is uninspired, then that makes up for boring experience.

From what they've shown in the trailers and the demos, the levels look like a blast. One of the stages looks very Wario Land 3 inspired. With the hand popping out of the sand trying to grab you.

 
I've seen a friend playing the demo of this game, it sticks out a bit more to me than Pizza Tower because it looks more like it's leaning hard into the Wario Land inspiration. Might actually give it a try one of these days once it's out.

The newest demo on Steam is pretty fun. You'll definitely notice a lot of respect to Wario Land. Someone even already made a playable Wario mod for the game, and it fits in so well!

Well now the game is even more playable (Wario as the main characters makes anything playable)
 
Just replayed the demo and I did not expect having as much fun as I did. The only problem I had was that levels may feel a little bit too long but apart from that I had blast! I think I would definetely buy the full game when it will be out.
