time to ruin another planet
 
Among the several wildfires burning my state down right now (most are in the northern part), we've got one that's a little too close for me called the Holy Fire. It's currently burning around 18,100 acres and is 5% contained. It's to the south of me in Orange and Riverside Counties whereas I'm in San Bernardino County that's to the north of them but we can still see and smell the fire from here. We've even had ashes fall into our yard and pool a few days ago!

They arrested a suspect for starting this fire and he's one real whackadoodle.
 
Im not totally sure where to stand on the issue of censorship of conservatives on social media. I dont totally like the idea of passing laws on what a private company can and cant have on its website, for the obvious reason that once you allow that, it can grow into govt censorship, and I do not want the govt to have that kinda power over the information were given. But at the same time, people argue that these companies have a public venue where ideas are spread, and that you cant keep out a group because you dont like their ideas, and I agree with that. Not to mention, these companies all having the same leaning means that censorship can happen, and information can be controlled, but through privatr companies and not the govt.

I cant really make up my mind on the idea of telling these companies they cant censor anyone, but at the same time we dont allow things likr tv or radio to do this. So should social media sites be held to the same standard?

Thats a super complicated issue there.

It’s important to make the distinction between a user of a site and someone who works for a site. It’s one thing if users were freely sharing more liberal media and you had no interference from site staff. It’s another when site staff basically try to manipulate their own beliefs onto other users and controlling the info that users see.

Most parts of the issue come from either an anti-Trump viewpoint or people just wanting to be spoon fed what they read and not wanting to take personal accountability for anything. And regardless if algorithms on sites like Facebook or Google prohibit conservative media from coming up, neutral sites like theirs shouldn’t be putting up manual algorithms because they’re not political think tanks and regular people don’t use them as such. If any legislation is passed it should focus on algorithm processing and not on liberal vs conservative representation.

But seriously though, most of these shool shootings are just copycat crimes, carried out by pathetic retards who want to gain attention, no matter how.
 
Theyve been doing stuff like that forever now.

Competitive sports are mean, or whatever. Im not good at those things either, and I still think its really stupid to keep kids from playing them.
