How does the Golden Pyramid link to places...

Diamond City Mayor
Diamond City Leader
Presumably built after the pyramid? The Curious Factory seems at least Victorian era or newer, the Toxic Landfill and 40 Below Fridge seem fairly modern, Pinball Zone and Hotel Horror seem 60s or 70s style and Crescent Moon Village is probably about 18-19th century or so.

So how does the pyramid link to those places? Was the pyramid built only a few years ago? Were places like Crescent Moon Village and the Curious Factory around in the Mushroom World equivalent of ancient Egypt or Aztec era South America? Does the pyramid automatically update the paintings to link to various places added later?

It links to all of those different places that live on inside the ancient pyramid by using the same power that makes it exist. It is the mighty force of Warioverse magic.

Dr. Arewo Stein must have something to do with this. We have no idea why he's in there but he's 90 years old so his memories mixed with a strange undiscovered pyramid and a magic Diva = portals and paintings and treasure.

That's an interesting point. What is Arewo Stein's scientific speciality anyway?

One word: Witchcraft

In serious: I don't really think theses places are there are totally real, maybe its a way that the Golden Diva found to to lure and kill the curious individuals that come near the pyramid who wants to rob the treasures inside the pyramid.

Isnt he an robot engineer or a archeologist, something like that?

Taken from the Wiki:
While his first and only appearance in a Wario Land series game was in Wario Land 4, Dr. Arewo Stein's character actually originated from Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru (カエルの為に鐘は鳴る, meaning For the Frog the Bell Tolls), a Game Boy game that was released exclusively in Japan. In said game, Dr. Arewo Stein is a member of the supporting cast surrounding the adventure of the Prince of Sablé. Dr. Arewo Stein works as a researcher for an institute on Nantendou Island, providing the protagonist with helpful items such as gloves that increase strength, or a device that can control mammoths. He also appears in the final battle of the game, riding a robot of his own creation, the Tokyo Comic Show Z, which assists in defeating the final boss. Dr. Arewo Stein is said to be a gourmet, and he frowns upon the thought of sharing his food. He is especially stingy when sushi is involved.
