Unfortunately, they butchered them about as badly as the actual mechanics, leading to probably the worst Mystic Lake foreground rip I've ever seen. You can see the horror for yourself in this longplay:



Still, I rarely see Wario Land resources used in this sort of crap, so I guess it's interesting they do pop up now and again.

Would you even consider it a romhack? it moves so differently compared to the original game. also yes id have to agree on those tile placements. on top of that, the music is not even music.
 
It's a bootleg game/pirate ripoff, not a ROM hack. If they'd edited an existing game it might have turned out half decent.
 
Yeah, pretty much everything about this game is a trainwreck.

I still have no idea how anyone can look at this and (honestly) think "Yeah, I did a really good job here",

Oh god, this is the worst Super Mario World hack I've ever seen. Why do people even put effort in creating such abominations? I hope that whoever made this is now a lot better at it.

It's not a ROM hack, it's a bootleg game. If it was a hack, at least the engine would be half decent.
