Ideas for plot in a new Wario Land game

The 3rd Wario Brother

Worlds greatest treasure hunter.

So some of us have thought up of mechanics in a new WL game trying to come up with ideas if we ever see anothe game, But what about the plot? I know i know, Wario isn't about the plot and that isn't completely important but its their and each game comes up with simple and yet creative ways to send Wario on his adventure.

So my idea is as follows. One day Wario was eating some delicious garlic. Though he left his window open and a beaver came inside. (Beaver is a nod to Virtual Boy Wario Land) The beaver then took Wario's garlic and ran out with it and Wario gives chase. Eventually Wario catches up and the beaver throws the garlic into the river where there is a humongus dam that is very ornate and decorated with gold. Wario acknowledges this but quickly jumps in the river for his garlic. He sees the garlic only for it to get eaten up by a gigantic puffer fish with razor sharp golden teeth, an ornate cape, a shiny crown and, a beautiful necklace. The fish puffs up and blows Wario away and he lands gobsmacked in the middle of the dam. While Wario is conked out they take into into the dungeon but he awakes before the throw him in the cell and beats up the beavers. He looks for a way out but get lost only to chance upon their treasure vault. Wario of course wants they goods but the vault is locked up tight however there are nearby pedestals with nothing on them but the sign indicates there is treasure there. Wario puts two and two together and decides he needs the treasures but where are they. After a bit of wandering inside the damn Wario stumbles upon some frogs going through portals inside different chambers, There's also a big menacing door at the end of each hallway. This is where Wario's journey begins.

This is a rough draft for my idea and not at all complete.

I had an idea that a devil-like being named Fauster appears to Wario one day and makes a deal with him. He'll make Wario unbelievably wealthy in exchange for his soul. Wario agrees and his soul is transported to the World of Wicked Wiles, a place full of treasure and monsters that no soul has ever escaped. It was a trick! Well, Wario is determined to escape and return with all the treasure there.

The World of Wicked Wiles is a Metroidvania type world devided into 7 areas based on the Seven Deadly Sins. If Wario can defeat the Seven Wicked Demons who rule the land, he'll have a chance to escape. Along the way you'll meet other souls who are trapped there and can give Wario sidequests for cash.

Here are the areas Wario can explore (and the Deadly Sin they are based on).

Vanity Valley (Pride)
Casino Castle (Greed)
Heartbreak Dungeon (Lust)
Archrival Arena (Envy)
Junk-Food Junction (Gluttony)
Hot Head Inferno (Wrath)
Dumping Grounds (Sloth)

The beginning reminds me of Wario Ware Smooth Moves, where Wario is eating dessert, it gets stolen, and he gives chase into the temple. This story feels like a fusion of a Wario Ware story and Virtual Boy Wario Land. The dungeon is interesting, though not sure what its origin would be. Wario Land is never good at explaining the origin of things though. Bringing back the beaver is a cool idea. Would definately like to see new characters in the story as well.
Correct, it does take inspiration from the two.
