Might be a problem comparing 'old Wario' to 'new Wario'...

I saw this series online where the artist tries to compare the newer design of a character to an older one. And guess what, he made one of Wario!

Just one snag. Can you guess what it is?

Yeah, Wario hasn't really changed much over those years, so the comparison is kind of pointless.

He changed, not a lot but a bit.

Here we have your cartoony cross eye Wario, a little fatter I think, face just a tiny bit wider...lol

And now we have a little bit more buff Wario, with no sleeve.

From the picture you can totally see the diff's just ENOUGH for it not to be "pointless"

In this case, it's more of a showcase of the slight shift in art style than in Wario's actual design. True, every feature is pretty much the same, but the nuances of each feature in the older art style tend more towards largeness and a sort of...roundness, I guess? The difference is distinctly noticeable, albeit not in the same sense of other characters' changes over the years, like Dr. Robotnik.
