At least they haven't completely forgotten about non-Sonic properties.
it's not really a substitute, but Valkyria Chronicles has Vyse and other SoA characters playable.
it's a very good game on its own, too.
Actually I saw a video with Vyse and Aika in that game, yeah. I was really humored but how much they dont act like the SoA characters at all : p Theyre personalities arent the same in any way : p
But, yeah! Actually I really wanna play that game : p It does look really great, it kinda made me think of Battalion Wars (with what little Ive seen) but turn based, which would be really cool : p Plus having actual characters makes the game look more fun too. Would really like to play that game one day.
I don't know why Gamefreak/Nintendo doesn't make a 3D Pokemon Adventure RPG on a home console. That would sell like a zillion copies.
Wario Land 6 and Luigi's Mansion 3, definitely. I even had a full set of ideas for what the latter could be:

Someone posted earlier that they dont like money.
And I used to think thats what Pokemon X D Gale of Darkness or whatever was, turns out its just another stadium game. How lame : p
