Yeah, the localization of this game was admittedly rushed.
Rushed but it still took FOR-FUCKING-EVER!
Like, seriously, why? Why does it take so long?
It took over a year for it to come out in europe!
Why does it take so long to translate a bit of text, most of which has already been translated?
It's not like one language has to be translated after the next.
They can all be translated at once.
...ugh...
Did any of you guys like the story in it, or do you think you could have done without it?
I'm not against a story... but it shouldn't be done this way. Too much dialog.
The stories in WarioWare work because they use very little dialog and are short and simple.
Also, the stages don't really have anything to do with the story.... so... eh...
The biggest turn-off was so many returning stages and so few new ones. The endless games aspect gets severely squandered as well. Heck, it doesn't even have my favorite DS stage: Crop Stomp. I wasn't even going to get this game at first.
Yeah, the selection left something to be desired. I hate that so many of the unlockable stages are from Fever. Just cuz they were easy to port and didn't need new graphics. :/
I wish it had the Bon Odori, Rap Men, Rap Women, Munchy Monk 2, DJ School,...
I wish it DIDN'T have Working Dough 1 and 2, Clap Trap, Cosmic Rhythm Rally, FUCKING QUIZ SHOW,...
I'm also not happy with the new Bunny Hop. The jumping animation doesn't look smooth and the black outlines clash with the style. :/
Not to mention the music.
Here's the Tengoku Version (HD):
And here's the Megamix Version:
The Tengoku version sounds much better if you ask me.
Oh well... looks like I'll have to take out my Rhythm Tengoku every time I wanna enjoy Bunny Hop.
You know what tho?
This game would've been perfect for DLC.
Why is there no DLC for new stages, old stages, new Remixes, old Remixes, endless games, rhythm toys, etc.?
I'D GIVE THEM ALL MY CASH FOR SOME NEW STAGES
