As in, the characters from each merged into one series, with many shared mechanics and ideas? Or would you rather they were kept more separate here?
Should Wario Land and WarioWare be merged?

I believe they can easily share more elements with each other at least.
Like a WL game that contains microgames inbetween worlds as interludes. We'd have a mini WarioWare within the game and typical modes you'd expect in the postgame. But outside of them you'd have a competent platformer too!
I'd rather have that than forced gimmicks like the golf in WL3 or the Subwarine in Shake It...
Plus put Mona in there as a playable character maybe?
In return the WarioWare games can have more direct references to past WL games and maybe instead of menus offer playable hubs in Diamond City where you move around like in a WL game, just casually exploring but mainly playing the microgames.
Basically both branches could contain a bit of the other, which would keep both sides happy and also encourage them to try the other perhaps!
