It appears that long before WarioWare existed, there was another character named Mona in a very obscure Nintendo comic. Of course, this has nothing to do with WarioWare at all, but on her MarioWiki page (yes, there is a page about a character appearing only once) one sentence caught my attention: Mona appears to be a very hard-working woman.
This made me think about the Mona from WarioWare. Could it be possible that when the WarioWare characters were developed, they drew some inspiration from this character?
Because Mona from WarioWare also appears to be very hard-working (or at least very busy) with her many jobs. Two ladies, both the same name, and both hard-working... It feels to be more than just a coincidence.
Or is it just me seeing too many things?
