So here I propose we add some sort of number or circle on the page's tab (on the icon) to indicate that there is a new alert, just in case we don't check the page for awhile and new stuff is posted.
As an example, you can look at Discord, Facebook and other places with alert systems that implement that. It's useful to the point where you don't have to check the page every time to see if a new alert is there, you can just check the browser tab.
