Sice we have a Crygor thrad now I figured we could have one for the three Volts as well, so feel free to talk about everything that comes to your mind in regards to them.

I'm a fan of them, goes without saying, 9-Volt in particular is tied with Kat & Ana as my favorite character in the series (apart from the big W obviously) and gravitated towards him very early on, considering his Nintendo theme that's hardly a surprise.

I do like 18-Volt as well, it's nice that 9-Volt has someone to play off of and 5-Volt is someone who surprised me with her sudden unobscured appearence in Game & Wario, didn't expect that and I really do like her design and role in Gamer, not to mention the minor infamy she recieved due to that.

Let's take some time to appreciate ho utterly hypnotic this is to watch.
 
I'm sure many assumed that to be the case, whether they got the reference or not, though 5-Volt obviously threw that out of the window.
 
It was chiefly the English localization that ruined that since her Japanese name is 5-Watt. Was probably also a joke in itself of her age since converting Watts and Volts is rather complicated.
 
I always asked myself one thing: According to Mega Party Games he owns everything from Nintendo including games.

Does that mean that he also owns rated r games?
Is his mom okay with that?
Does he buy them in secret?
Where does all this money come from?

So 5-Volt is actually a translation error? Does that mean that 9-Volt's family members do have other electrical units as their last name?
 
I always wondered whether or not the Gamer title card could be seen an indicator of what 9-Volt looks like under the helmet:

Just some food for thought, it's interesting to note that what you could see of his hair did become a slightly lighter shade of brown in Game & Wario, but even then I don't see him as a full on ginger.

With that said I really like Yudeika1's take on helmetless 9-Volt :

It's somewhat based off the Gamer design in terms of hairtyle anyways, at any rate I could totally get down with this look.

I thought 9-Volt to have the same hair colour as his mom: brown.

Am I the only one who really likes the more badass style of the title screens in Game&Wario?
 
I absolutely LOVE 9-Volt! :9volt: He has such an interesting character, and his development (and that of his family!) over the course of the series has been phenomenal imo

My favorite character trait of 9-Volt's (& one I hope the developers continue to build on!) is how naturally drawn to "outsiders" he seems. No matter the situation, 9-Volt is one of the first to be friendly when he sees someone being excluded: he catches up with 18-Volt after school on the day he gets called out by the teacher & invites him over; he does the same for Orbulon in his diaries when he sees him "looking lonely"; he adopts his beloved pet, Shag, after finding him as a dejected stray on the street... He just seems like such a sweet kid. :love:

TBH I like the name 5-Watt more than 5-Volt because Watts is all about power, true power even.
But for 9-Volt I think his name is good as it is, since he's named after the operating voltage of the NES, which seems to be his favourite game system.:9volt:

This is personally my favorite take on a helmetless 9-Volt generally.

So anyways, 9-Volt.
He's a fun character. Is he my favorite character?
No not really, but neithertheless, he's a fun character who is relatable, kind and quite the expressive young chap. Plus his games and bosses are some of the best in the franchise as they put a unique Warioware style twist on Nintendo products both old and new.
Plus his interactions and dynamics with 18-Volt and 5-Volt are both great fun as well.

Overall, he's a pretty fun character all around
with some great mircogames on top of that.
Nothing much more I can say really.

I like it, might as well take advantage of her being a proper character now, rather then just a silhouette.

Also, it means that we are getting a triple dose of Nintendo microgames in Gold and I sure as heck already love her promotion to the main cast, for that alone.
