Super Mario Bros. X is a Mario fangame where you can create and play your own Super Mario levels.

Given that the libraries they list are recreations of Wario's moveset in games like Wario Land 4, I suspect we'll get a fair few Wario Land fan games out of this, even if they're on the shorter/one level side.

So yeah, anyone tried any of these submissions yet?

Wow, might be time to give SMBX a reinstall for such an event... though I'm not particularly in love with the moveset the built-in Wario has. I like the idea of a shopkeeper to spend coins at, but it feels wrong for him to use Mario's power-ups. Looks like that WL4 Wario scratches more of my personal itches though, so I'll be sure to check some of these out!
