The Mario RPG thread

Mario & Luigi Paper Jam is comfirmed to come out on December 3rd in Japan:

Not gonna lie the jump from spring 2016 to Dezember 3rd 2015 gives me concerns about the game becoming a rush job, althought maybe they are just ahead of the schedule, you never know.

Yes, that scares me too.
That's less than 2 months away and the last time we saw it it looked like the most generic game since Sticker Star. I really hope they added A LOT of new content.

I'm banking in this being another Mario Tennis Ultra Smash case, where it's obvious that they weren't planning to reveal it on E3, but had to hastily throw together a trailer and demo so that Nintendo could have a few more noteworthy announcements other then Star Fox and that the next trailer will blow everyone away the same way the second 3D World trailer did.

I just really want to be optimistic because Alphadream has yet to let me down with any of their Mario offerings and I don't want this to be the first one. Not to mention that I'm desperate for a new GOOD Paper Mario anything, especially since I'm currently playing trough The Thousand-Year Door again.
 
Actually the site doesn't list Gold and Silver Mario as compatible at all, which is strange since both versions of 8-Bit Mario and all Yarn Yoshis are listed.

Also I'm expecting Dr Mario to be treated as his own character with his own functionality, Mario Maker and Yoshi's Woolly World do that at least.
 
Although unlikely, I wonder if M&L Paper Jam being pushed sooner could be due to Star Fox Zero's delay. I mean otherwise Nintendo's holiday season seems rather vacant.

They'd still have to advertise it though. But so far we still no naught about the game.
 
Pushed sooner...I really hope they know what they're doing. Otherwise...we could have a problem.

Honestly, I'm not sure how to take it. Let's just hope they're nt making mistakes here.
 
Well I don't think we should be too worried since if they needed the extra time I don't think they'd hesitate to announce a delay. Still, this is so soon though..

Still looks so generic.
Grass Lands, Desert, Forest, Beach World, Ice Worl, Fire World, Boss! Mh-cha, mh-cha, mh~

Looks like the map was taken straight out of New Super Mario Bros. You decide which one.
