Is that unlike with Sticker Star and Paper Jam, Nintendo can't possibly make it too generic, since both casts of Wario characters are original and interesting.
If it has Wario Land characters and settings, cool, they'll be original and have amusing personalities.
If it has WarioWare characters and settings, same thing applies.
Basically, there's zero chance a Wario themed Mario RPG would have dull characters and ideas. Anyone agree?
Yeah. Remember, other Mario RPGs can only be so dull because... well, the Mushroom Kingdom from the New Super Mario Bros games and its inhabitants are dull. Anything that's an actual crossover with any Wario series has to be 'interesting' by default.
Same with a Donkey Kong/Mario & Luigi crossover. The worst you could get there would be a Returns esque game with Tikis, and even that would have more personality than Sticker Star and Paper Jam. You can't get a dull Mario RPG with the Kongs, Kremlings or Snowmads.
