There's a max score in WarioWare Gold?

Apparently it's 999 points, and the game loops back to zero if you go over that:

I like these games but I'll lose interest long before I reach 999 points. The dedication of some people is admirable.

Is it even possible to get 999 points without TAS software and on games that require input (As opposed to those where you can win by not causing any input.) I only ever once scored over 200 points on that Sun spinning microgame in Twisted. Not that I've tried very hard on others though.

The games in Gold max out speed after 100 or so, so if you've got the endurance...
