Waluigi in Wario Land Ideas

Delsait

Wario Fan Supreme
This is my idea of how Waluigi could potentially fit in a Wario Land game, feel free to contribute your own as well.

I was thinking he'd be a playable character with different abilities you'd switch to navigate/solve different areas/puzzles. The hypothetical Wario game would be basically like Wario land 2-4 and be mainly single player. Wario would switch to Walugi(and vice a versa) at the Wario Car, the Wario Car would be located in the various stages.

Waluigi is faster, and jumps a little higher then Wario, but lacks the Shoulder Barge or groundpound. In lieu of the Shoulder Barge, Waluigi has a strong kick known as the Waluigi Punt. While it doesn't move or is a destructive as the Shoulder Barge, the Waluigi punt sends what it hit flying through the air. The Waluigi Punt works particularly well on small, round enemies such as the various types of Gooms.

In place of the butt smash, there is the Waluigi Drill which involves Waluigi spinning his legs in the air before plummeting into his target. The Waluigi Drill doesn't shake the ground, but it can take out screws on the ground!

Waluigi would be able to throw enemies like Wario, but would have more difficulty throwing larger enemies, imagine the Super Throwing Glove vs the Regular Throwing Glove Wario Land 3. As such, Waluigi would mainly punt enemies and objects into targets.

Waluigi's lack of non-spinoff appearances would be made fun of in the (hypothetical)game. In the introduction, Waluigi would be visiting Wario to practice for a Tennis game only to get dragged into an adventure. One of the ingame treasure chests would be Waluigi's own game with flavor text talking about how it was never released.

Waluigi would have unique transformations and forms which are typically based on his skinny physique. Some of the transformations unique to Waluigi I can think of:

Snake Waluigi - Waluigi slithers on the ground like a snake allowing him to enter small passages and pipes. This transformation has a hissing attack as well which can frighten certain bosses/obstacles.

Wheel Waluigi - Waluigi entirely curled up into an O Shape. In this form, Waluigi can roll extremely fast but has difficulty stopping.

Dancing Waluigi - When Waluigi is hit by a music note(or grabs a stereo powerup depending on the transformation system), he starts dancing uncontrollably. Dancing Waluigi can sing a high note to attack enemies and break objects. Dancing Waluigi has increased mobility, and is always in motion in all his animations.

Drenched Waluigi - Waluigi when his clothes are all soaked. His abilities include shaking his legs inadvertandly spraying water and wringing out his hat. This allows Waluigi to both attack with water, and give water to things such as plants.

These are all just some of my crazy ideas and I might add more.

What we need is Waluigi Land! Waluigi deserves his own game!

The Story

Once upon a time Waluigi was in his front yard checking his mail, as he did every day even though no one ever sent him any mail, not even bill collectors. Why does everyone ignore poor Waluigi? Except today, for the first time ever, Waluigi did get mail! It was from Waluigi's best friend in the whole world, Wario! Usually Wario forgot to tell Waluigi about when he was going to go on an adventure, and the only reason Waluigi ever knew about all the sporting events he'd attended was because they were publicized on television...but maybe today Wario had finally remembered his best friend Waluigi? The very thought made Waluigi weep with joy! He tore open the letter and read it immediately.

Dear Mr. Waluigi:

We are afraid to inform you that your application for employment at WarioWare Inc. has been denied. We thank you for your interest in our company, and wish you success in your endeavors elsewhere.

Waluigi slowly read and reread the letter over and over, hoping beyond hope that he had somehow missed the part of it that would not fill him with soul-crushing despair. At last he gave up and crumpled the letter in his hand.

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" he cried out, unable to contain his emotions. He could not bear to go on living like this, each day more miserable than the last. He needed to prove himself. To Wario. To the world.

With a gleam of determination in his eye, Waluigi ran into his house and began rummaging through his sock drawer. He knew he'd put it in here somewhere...ah! There it was! Waluigi pulled out a magical belt that he'd found one day while digging through a dumpster for food. He assumed it was magical, at any rate, because it had a bunch of weird symbols inscribed on it. Magical things always have weird symbols inscribed on them, right?

With his magical belt now tightly strapped around his waste, Waluigi ran out through his front door and began his quest to find an adventure.

Moves

Waluigi possesses a wide array of abilities that he can use on his adventures. He can jump, and he can stomp on things, and he can....well that's about it, actually. But thanks to his magical belt he can do a lot more stuff!

Joystick/D-pad: Move Waluigi left and right.

A button: Jump (Waluigi is quite a good jumper)

B button: Stomp Attack (Waluigi is pretty weak, but by stomping on enemies repeatedly he can usually kill them eventually)

Waluigi's Magical Belt

While the main action is occurring on the TV screen, the gamepad will display a zoomed-in image of Waluigi's magical belt (as well as his glorious pelvic region). On the belt you'll see a number of symbols, each depicting a specific power. Simply touch the symbol and Waluigi will instantly transform into one of several super-powered states! But remember, transforming uses up magic energy (and some forms use up more than others), so be careful you don't run out!

Waluigi's forms include...

Buff Waluigi: In this form Waluigi grows giant muscles and he becomes just as strong as his best friend, Wario! Well...almost as strong.

Rubber Waluigi: Waluigi turns into rubber! He can stretch his arms to attack enemies far away, squeeze into openings he couldn't normally fit through, and even roll up into a bouncy rubber ball!

Robot Waluigi: Waluigi transforms into robot mode! In this form Waluigi can shoot lasers, fire missiles, and fly around a little with rocket boosters. He can't move very quickly in this form, though.

Cowboy Waluigi: Waluigi gains the powers of a cowboy! Wrangle up enemies with a lasso, shoot them with a revolver, and even summon a trusty steed to ride on!

Wizard Waluigi: You're a wizard, Waluigi! Cast magic spells that can turn enemies into frogs, access secret passageways, make Waluigi invisible, and various other loosely wizard-related things!

Bucket Waluigi: Does this even count as a transformation? In this form a bucket appears on Waluigi's head that he can't take off for some reason! This causes Waluigi to walk aimlessly in whatever direction he's facing. Fortunately, a fairy automatically appears for you to control. This fairy is very powerful: she is able to destroy most enemies with ease and access all sorts of secret areas that Waluigi can't reach. But make sure you keep an eye on Waluigi so he doesn't get hurt!

Dragon Waluigi: Waluigi turns into a giant, purple, fire-breathing dragon (with a hat)! This is Waluigi's most powerful form, so it drains magic quickest. Use it wisely.

Waluigi Time

One thing Waluigi didn't realize when he started his quest to find an adventure was that he has a secret magical power all on his own! Touch Waluigi's tummy on the touchscreen and you'll activate Waluigi Time! When this happens, all enemies on the screen will turn into miniature versions of Waluigi. These mini-Waluigis will follow Waluigi around and help him attack enemies. But be warned: using Waluigi Time instantly drains all of your magic energy, so don't waste it.

The Quest to Find an Adventure

Waluigi starts out his quest in Diamond City. It looks tame enough at first, but soon you'll find that danger lurks around every corner, and that hidden secrets are everywhere to be found! And who knows? If you search hard enough, maybe you'll find someone who can send Waluigi on the adventure of his lifetime...

Captain Syrup: This famous pirate has a long-standing feud with Wario. Waluigi's got no beef with her, though. It seems like she has some piracy she may want Waluigi's help with...

Dr. Arewo Stein: This oddly shaped researcher appears to be trying to solve an ancient mystery of some sort. Should Waluigi help him out?

Toad: What the heck is this guy doing here in Diamond City? Apparently he's on an important errand for Princess Peach...why should Waluigi bother with that? Wait...did Toad just say something about a reward? With enough money...maybe Waluigi could buy Wario's approval!

Orbulon: This little alien says he needs help taking over the planet. Waluigi doesn't know whether he should take him seriously or not...

Rudy the Clown: This creepy fellow has nothing but evil intentions in mind, but Waluigi doesn't care! Waluigi will do anything if it means people will finally treat him with respect!

That's also great! Really nice post, good job!
How do you regain energy, though?

Magic energy would slowly regenerate on its own after a while, but it can also be refilled by collecting magic energy orbs that are dropped by defeated monsters. Where the heck did all these monsters come from, you ask? Maybe Waluigi will find out on one of his many adventures!

Regenerate on its own. Shouldn't you make a time limit then? Because you should not be encouraged to stop playing to let your energy replenish.
