Waluigi is everyone's valentine's day date?

Well, that's what this Nintendo poll seems to be suggesting anyway. Either through hacking or sheer fanboyism, Waluigi has somehow got about a thousand times more votes than every other Nintendo character featured, including Mario, Link and our boy Wario:

Who would you want to give a Valentine to?

Is Waluigi really that handsome?

Ultimately it's a meaningless poll on a website for kids that most people probably don't even know about.
But still, I can't shake off how obnoxious Waluigi fans really come off.
The extreme discrepancy between the votes Waluigi got compared to everyone else makes it obvious this was planned out by a group of people.
