As in, the franchises? Maybe, since a chart from March 2015 showing Nintendo sales by IP seems to have Wario outranking the Metroid series:
Apparently it's for all Nintendo series with at least two million + selling games.
So yeah, what was that? Was that Wario outselling Metroid, Star Fox and F-Zero? Guess this franchise matters more than Nintendo themselves thinks it does...
Brain Training though. Never knew people bought those games.
It's sad to see Rhythm Heaven isn't on the list.
Smash Bros. is really high on the list for a franchise with only 5 games.
1: The chart is for games shipped to retaillers, not actual sales to consumers.
2: The list only count games that shipped more than one million. So games like WW Twisted (around 500k sales worldwide) and Metroid Zero Mission (around 600k) are not counted in their respective series' "sales".
