Wario in Mario Maker?

You can apparently use Amiibos with it to unlock different playable characters, and Link himself was shown off in some videos...

So does that mean we'll be able to play as Wario by using a Wario Amiibo?

Cause if so, that's awesome! It means we can sort of make our own Wario Land experience!
