[Wario Land 2] I could never solve this level as a kid

When i was a kid, I just couldn't pass Wario Land 2's level, Down To The Basement (4-3). I dont know why. I guess I just kept going in cyrcles or something, and could never find the exit.
Did you guys have any difficulty with that level?

I've never really had much trouble in wario land II, except maybe in some of the owl levels and some of the ghost levels.

Do you mean Down into the Basement? That was one of the most frustrating levels in this game. I didnt even know how the elevators worked
