wow these are amazing! I can totally help with this, for example the 3rd one zako hitubo is actually hiTsubo, they took out the t because of Kunrei Shiki romanization, hi is fire and tsubo is like a jar, they're those walking torch guys that spill out fire

I couldn't get the link to work but I'd love to take a deeper look at all this stuff later

I find it interesting they used "zako" for objects and stuff as well, for enemies it absolutely makes sense because zako is a small fry and is commonly used to refer to weaker sort of fodder enemies. I wouldn't call every single enemy that though, how is there going to be a distinction between the stronger ones lol

As for everything before, makes sense to me, I bet the LRUD in Domino are for Left Right Up Down, and the ST can be Start in STR and Last in LST. I'm not sure what exact pencils, but they got Doodle Woods written all over them, I don't remember any instances of pencils outside that level, perhaps except for scribbles related to the Topaz Passage and its levels, such as its corridor itself. Pinball Toge is absolutely those (unless if there are any other spiked pinballs I'm forgetting) same toge for spike as in toge mask

I find this fascinating and pieced together a few, but could you please show me the full list? Just because there are some confusing ones and it might help to see which ones they're paired with

So to find it myself would it be an Ique dump of the game? I'm having trouble finding it but if you screenshoted it and put it here or sent it over discord or something (I think we're both in that Wario's Conquest server) it'd be appreciated

Oh MAN am I glad I got to analyze all this, there's a lot and some new info! Which I'll sumarize at the end again, feel free to ask about anything in particular as well

1-5: Takarabako being the 4 chests, takara being treasure and hako with rendaku being box (there are also the treasure chests from the bosses itself, but I believe those could be what takara box is referring to later). I'm curious what the "card" and "bainomi" is, I can't think of any association the chests have with cards. As for bainomi, I don't know if that's even a word, usually bai is 倍 double or multipliers, or 売 for selling, and the nomi could be 飲み for drinking but I think it's probably closer to something like 木の実 where its like a nut seed berry kinda deal or a fruit of something, it is interesting wondering what it could be when its paired with the chests

6: daicoin, a big coin?! After 128 it mentions the 1000 coin as dcoin, which is the value of the diamond. I know there are small coins, but there are also multiple big coins. There is also an unused type of coin in the game's unused graphics (I always found it interesting how in Wario Land 1 there are the coins with a 十 for 10, but they didn't do that for WL4, I know the 100 coins got a = kinda symbol on them and I guess it could kinda look like 百 but it's a stretch)

7: What could the J in J Switch possibly be? There's also an entry that says star next to it later. There aren't a lot of switchs, the ! blocks are well, blocks, and most blocks have block in the name, so that leaves the frog switchs and domino row race start switchs (unless if there are any other switchs I'm forgetting?) I don't believe it to be the roulette switchs in the big board because later on those, they got a different name, sugoroku. I'm gonna be thinking about this one for a while lol (There's also J_SWITCH_STAR about 60% through the list)

8/9: Our boy Keezer and Shokora as Game and Watch

10-12: Kemuri? That's smoke, I wonder what it's doing as an item? And presumably in SML sizes, there isn't a smokeball and that's a different word

13/14: It's interesting theres a heart quarter, that's more the chest's thing. There are heart chests though, but they fully restore health. Sometimes hearts appear in stages but that's 1 unit of health, and the smaller bar increases in 1/8 increments (although, the health bar used to have a piece of garlic next to it) and the next one would be for unlocking the boss door with the fragments

15: Lips + cat, the start and end of the Golden Diva fight

16: Seems unfinished, and while takara bako would refer to the quarters, I think takara box would be a distinction for the ones that vanish from boss fights if you aren't quick enough

17-19: Yarimen/spear mask, the red blue and yellow guys with spears

20: Asiba is ashiba for foothold/scafolding, but the game refers to it as a spawning location (see 71), and mokume is for wooden grain. My first thought was, maybe the toy blocks? Normally they're wood, and aren't large enough to stand on after all. But those are called something else (see 67, the one you already saw if you just checked 71). This is a strange one, I don't remember any sort of wooden platforms (there are some in the second room of Mystic Lake, but this is an object). But, 85 and 86 mentions a left and right version of them, and the way they're paired, I think could be the swinging platforms in Monsoon Jungle... but wait a minute, those got a different name too! Whatever they are, they got a left and right version, and that's probably a pretty big hint!

21: Iwa is rock and that doesn't give us a lot to work with, there are breakable rock like blocks, but you'd expect those to be specified as blocks, and as for the rocks you pick up and throw, we already have yuka iwa. There are 岩男 and 雪男, the Rockmen (not Megaman) that transform into Icemen in Fiery Cavern, AKA Bowler and Yeti. So we're just stuck with rock with not a lot of leads lol
22: Skeleton Bird
23: This is interesting, because I just found out that the hitsubo I mentioned earlier, is actually called kaentsubo! (According to Mariowiki). Both of them got fire meanings and there's a LOT of fire in their name, hi being 火 and kaen 火炎, technically they're different words but I think the latter is more appropriate to describe as a blaze rather than the former, it's just more fire lol. But it's interesting that it's called something different internally, the wiki said kaentsubo comes from the Shogakukan and Enterbrain Japanese game guides
24: Kontoge? This one confused the heck out of me, I thought maybe it were those dropping spiky chestnut looking things that only appear during Mystic Lake's escape, but it's actually Cuckoo Condor! Kondara is the JP name, and despite the toge at the end, no spikes, its just all their stuff is referred to as kontoge (although those saws are spiky!)
25-29: Totsumen, Fiery Cavern rising lava geyzer, Wildflower Field moles, those pink and stronger black spinys
30: Awat? like 慌てる being confused or kinda like a panic? and 発生器 is a generator. Interestingly enough, there are 3 generator enemies that I can think of, and exactly 3 in this list. They are the pig in doodle woods, the spike cannons in pinball zone, and catbat shooting out the flying spiked enemies. The other 2 fit just fine, which makes this one the odd one out, and it's... Hoggus/Kiyobu the Doodle Woods pig?! Although I gave it a bit more thought, and awa could be bubble, and bubbles do indeed continuously generate, so it's plausible!
31: Enemies that roll the spiked ball in Curious Factory

32: yuki is snow, could refer to 雪男 the yeti, that transform from the rock ones in Fiery Cavern, could be 雪だるま for snowball Wario (the Snowman Wario, but not to be confused with the Snowman 雪男 LMAO), maybe even just snow itself like in 40 below fridge

33. Togemasuku, the floating spikes in Arabian Night

34. Am I glad "spk" is marked as a generator otherwise I'd be completely lost, a spike generator could be from catbat or from pinball zone (and the pinball zone one is marked as pinball). However, if spk is referring to not spike, but spark, that's a completely different story, sparks get generated in Pinball Zone as well, that'd mean we have a name for them! (albeit a straightforward one)

35-39: I have no idea, yuka being floor and kikai possibly being machine, and I wonder what the multiples are? 38 and 39 confused me for a bit too, I didn't think this game had carpets but then I remembered the magic carpets in Arabian Nights, and bouba are the bow balloon enemies!
40-41: Big Board and docodoor seems to be paired with it, more on that on 82
42-44: There's a BIG Maruman?! This is INCREDIBLE!
45-59: Where's The Noid when you need him
60/61: Mayubird (Arabian Night) and a bat, could be Bat Wario or maybe Catbat
62: Togetoge?!! Come ON no more toge PLEASE (Actually, I found it! It's the spiked chestnut things from Mystic Lake's escape, which the wiki says it was from the source code. Don't worry, there are names here I'm discovering now that aren't over there, you're getting the exclusive scoop!)
63: Crescent Moon Village ghost
64-66: Bee, flower, and catepillar from Wildflower Fields
67-71: I like this one, it's the shapes of Toy Block Tower! The number refers to the number of sides the shape has, 3 for the triangle, 4 for the square (the breakable cat blocks) and 0 for the circle. The triangle also has a K for くぼみ kubomi for the hollow slots to put the block in, as well as A for 足場 where the block itself spawns
72-80: Spring Wario enemies, axe wielding enemies (not to be confused with the mummy ones in Arabian Night), Goggley Blades in Mystic Lake (there are horizontal and vertical versions, wow!), leaping underwater spiky shell enemies, the apple throwing monkeys, and the pistons in Curious Factory

81: Doramori? Later there are more entries that mention tsunamis and splashes, which have got Catbat written all over, as well as ice and ice kemuri (smoke/fog) which I don't see the connection, but there is a lot of smoke when he coughs up enemies, so perhaps it can be a chilling fog? There's also the dorazame, a cat shark, which I'd say would be fitting for catbat, except this shark is a robot! (and technically called dorizame but I think that's a typo) While these connections feel odd for this entry, I believe Doramori could be referring to Catbat, since there's more entries where the bosses have different names from the JP version, such as Cuckoo Condor/Kondara being called Kontoge, and Golden Diva/Youki being called Mouja (by the way, catbat's en and jp names are the same)

82: すごろく is a game that I never heard of that I gotta look into later, I guess it's like the one you see in The Big Board because it was described as a race to the goal with dice, just how like Keyzer is the goal. I've seen 専用 as a dedicated purpose and normally I'd think of 表示発生 as a counter display for each time an occurance happens. Interestingly enough, maybe it could be like 発生器 for generator, because the roulette spawns enemies? But then the later entries might say otherwise, some of the docodoors say uzu and Big A Big B Mid A and Mid B, and also mentions kagi out, and Wario in and out, and that's when it hit me, uzu is uzumaki, the spiral in and out of levels, and kagi being key is referring to Wario unlocked doors after each level with Keyzer
83-86: The swinging blocks in Monsoon Jungle, and a left and right version of number 20 which I didn't know
87-92: The pinballs, their goals and the directions they face, and the blocks that count down and block the next room
93: roulette, also mentioning you can hit over and over again
94-98: The spiked pinball generators, the Wildflower Fields sunflower, the enemies that transform from rock to ice versions in Fiery Cavern, and... magma? Could this be the pools of lava, since the waterfall kind of geyzer ones were already mentioned in 26?
99-104: Boss door
105: Shikki/Shittuki is Aerodent, but I wonder what Puutin could be, maybe the stuffed bear? That's not a poutine at all!!!
106-113: Seems like these all belong to Doodle Woods. The pig named Kiyobu named after an artist at Nintendo, the snails, the flying pigs the ballerina pigs, and I'm not sure what jyabara could be, and lastly the pencils
114-117: Robobird in Curious Factory, not sure what utubo could be (reminds me of the hitubo being hitsubo, which oddly is actually named kaentsubo in the Japanese game guides), and togenobi x2 and being called turara for the second one, togenobi is the octopus that extends its spiky arms in Mystic Lake (I got excited when I mistaken these for the nobiiru that are indeed toge in Wario Land 3! I thought what the heck are they doing here lol) and turara is tsurara for icicle like in Fiery Cavern's escape or 40 below fridge
118-123: Cractus (and uekibachi is flowerpot), Big Board dice enemies, Topaz Passage Wario Toy Car enemies, Arabian Night axe wielding mummy enemies, neko being Shokora's cat form or Catbat, the plastic bottle enemies in Toxic Landfill where PET is short for polyethylene terephthalate
124/125: I almost missed this one, it's the glass orb dropping bird in the bonus zones! And mouja mentions a parts priority and arrangement when starting a level. Which I imagine would be referring to special objects with layers that are being prioritized over top, but there's something more important going on here. Mouja is the deceased, but can also refer to somebody whose obsessed and has a blind lust for something, say... riches? Later there's more mouja entries that all refer to ヨーキ, youki/Golden Diva! The kanji in her name is 妖姫 and its the same one you see in youkai and also gives off similar creepy and deceased vibes like mouja. Also with mouja mentioning the priority thing, I think that's why you have all the bosses near the end of the list, and then togenobi is oddly there, because togenobi's parts being layered could have been done at the same time when layering all of Golden Diva's masks and other parts, as well as all the other bosses that are heavy on layers
126-128: Golden Passage chandeliers, throwable rocks, Mad Scienstein/are wo shitain hakase

As for some of the entries beyond, Pinky is Spoiled Rotten and the Totsumen are its henchmen variations. There's an entry for "togedon" for Aerodent, and that could be what those "pin enemy" that don't really got a JP name could be called! Also, there's no mention of Hotaru/firefly, the firefly that transforms zombie wario back to normal in the cractus fight, and instead there is an entry for a "bububae" which tracks for having a light. Since the crown and flowerpot are already accounted for, and it emits light, I believe this entry could be refering to that firefly! The name could be like the onomatopoeia ぶうぶう and rendaku on fly/hae becomes bae. There's also the "pig head statues" that drop fire in Toy Block Tower, which I couldn't find an entry for, and they don't really got a name, but I wonder if they're in here somewhere and I just missed it? Maybe I'll double check later

Again lots of interesting finds, lots of internal names matching the strategy guides but with a few different names such as hitsubo and kaentsubo (walking torch enemies), Kondara and Kontoge (Cuckoo Condor), Doramori possibly being Catbat, Youki and Mouja (Golden Diva). And there's not just the enemies with different names, but the enemies that didn't really have names but now do! Although there's some odd ones like the Pinball Zone sparks being... uh, Spark (if spk isn't spike) and the "Mechanical Fish" in Catbat's fight being, not Dorizame but Dorazame (if Doramori does infact refer to Catbat). Among the odd ones, there are more concrete ones too, such as Hotaru as "Bububae" (if it weren't for the Cractus pairing in the entry name, I would've thought this one could've belonged to the pig fire statues in Toy Block Tower! Bubu is the sound a pig makes in JP) and the "pin enemies" in Aerodent's fight likely having the name "Togedon". And last but not least, what the heck is the BIG Maruman?! Could the Marumen have had 3 states instead of 2 when ground pounding, like the Spear Masks? Or would this have been a different enemy entirely? I think it'd be interesting if they were a danger to Wario! It'd be kinda odd to give an enemy that's as helpless as WL1's Wanderin' Gooms 3 different states, I'd want to see how dangerous it is when it's like a red Spear Mask!

I hope ya'll find this as interesting as I did, this was a blast!
