Time for another playthrough. I'm also hoping that Nintendo will take note of how many people are playing this on NSO to test the waters of potentially reviving the series.

It was about GODDAMN time, i've been waiting for them to release it. (now, twisted on NSO when?)

Now this is awesome! Funny timing too since I only started playing it last night and then I see it announced! I hope that this can at least somehow lead to there being a new game in the series for the Switch/Switch 2, I can see it now...

This game has been awaited on Nintendo Switch (a lot), I hope Nintendo has plans to create a new official Wario Land game.
That's really cool ! Finally some more Wario to the library, and it's the arguably the most iconic game in the series too ! "Time to do another playthorugh of it."

That's a great point! All we need now is Shake It, and all the Wario Land 4 style games are on Switch.

If that day comes, I just hope they get it right! It needs to be crude and ugly as hell like WL4.
Seeing the style of the last Wario Land game, it'll likely be a bit more clean in comparison to 4, but there's still hope for a nasty ass look.

We currently have the best chances for a new Wario Land we have had in the last almost 17 years. Even the 'forgotten' Mario vs. Donkey Kong series got a remake last year even though the last physical entry was about 14 years ago. Goodfeel already has remaked Wii's Kirby's Epic Yarn. Wii's Donkey Kong Country returns also got a port.
The old Switch very probably will only get some ports and remakes from now and WarioWare didn't sell good on Switch so there is no reason not to remake Wii's Wario Land Shake It for the old Switch.
If we really don't get at least Wario Land Shake It HD during those now starting last Switch-years... I would be very surprised. And then I probably will think it's over for Wario Land.
If they were to remake something, I'd hope it's Wario Land 4 so we'd have a higher chance of getting a game in that style in the event it is successful. Either that, or the VB Wario Land that barely anyone has played because it was left to die on a failure of a console.
A Wario Land 4 remake would be a dream... but Nintendo won't bother remaking Wario Land 4. The fastest, easiest and cheapest way for Nintendo to check how Wario Land is received by players 17 years later is to remake Wario Land Shake It.
True. Would be interesting to see HD versions of the sprites for Wario Land Shake It, I guess.
