Wario on Tinder?

Just something I saw in this post of 'video game characters on Tinder' that Kotaku posted a short while ago:

It's an interesting idea for a comic, but I'm a tad disappointed in Wario's 'portrayal'. Isn't he already in a relationship or something?

I guess the other way around works too, since Mona is young and not a famous/rich woman. I'm just thinking that it may be better for Mona to not be with the lovable Wario, because even though he's lovable, he would quite possibly not give much attention to her and be a jerk sometimes.

Given it's either Diamond City or the Mushroom World we're talking about... I don't think the choice of love interests is particularly high.

I really have to wonder what Mona sees in Wario. Maybe instead of the WW team being his friends, he actually kidnapped them all and it's just a case of Stockholm syndrome?

The friends thinking he's cool and likable is understandable, that's why a Wario fandom exists. What puzzles us is when this becomes actual love.
