Because apparently, a few people on sites like Kitty Corp Meow Mix like the Wario series and wanted to add more characters and elements from it to Brawl. So here are some of the notable ones:

Modern Wario

A hack of Wario to give him more... Wario style graphics. Complete with Wario Land 3 style alt costume!

Oh sure, it comes from 2012. But... it certainly doesn't look very good. There was also going to be a good attempt in 2014, but it seems to have vanished into history at some point. Shame, cause that one looked to have a really, really good character model from what I saw...

There's also a download for her voice clips, in case you're that type of person who wants to see Wario with her voice. Why I don't know.

So what do you think of the Smash Bros hacks and mods based on the Wario series? Personally, I'm depressed that Nintendo doesn't include some of this stuff in Smash Bros 4 instead of farting Wario and yet more bland Fire Emblem characters...

These are really neat! I like the Rice Beach stage the most.

Also, Wario has the Shoulder Rush as his new side special in Project M, as well as a different down smash/meteor smash (the ground pound), a kick for his side special, a new back-aerial (a punch) as well as a new dashing animation.

I highly recommend getting the hack if you have a NA or JP Wii--Playing as a balanced WarioWare and Wario Land Wario is awesome.

I wonder if we're going to see a bunch of Ashleys when/if the Smash 4 ressources are ripped? I've heard mumbles it can be done, though I'm probably misrembering.

Well, let's see if Nintendo can come close to this cool stuff or if they are just gonna screw up once again.

Gosh, thoses hacks are amazing. Too bad I cannot use them since I utilise PAL version of the game.

The WW models characters (Jimmy using Luigi model; Mona using Princess Peach model, Ashley using Lucas/Ness model) are kinda mediocre to me, especialy Ashley, but hey, atleast they did their best at making them.

And about the stages, they look cool. I really wish someone could make a Wario Land stage "a la" Delphino Plaza-stage. (You know, shifting a place to another.)

Wario in Project M is neat to say the least. Especially the move references. The "The Big Board" stage and the Baby Bowser stage are my favorites. Certainly better than Wario's visibly recent Wario Smash content.
