Wario Theories?

There are a whole bunch of unexplained things in the Wario universe.
Zombie Wario got a fork in his knee because the Cook from WL2 and 3 put it there (for not appearing in WL4?)
The pictures in Wario's room in the first stage of WL2 are not of Wario but a relative of Wario.
Wario has coins with his face on them because he's the dictator of Wario Land.
Wario can't be Fat Wario in Smash because of balancing.

My theory is that Carpaccio is one of the reasons the Mushroom and Koopa Kingdoms are so easily taken over. Master of Disguise hints that he deliberately sabotages the systems sold by Sigil Securities in order to steal money from the customer, so hey, maybe they're the same guys behind Peach and Bowser's security systems. And have left them easy to exploit to rob later, leading to Bowser easily getting past the former and Mario/Luigi/Wario easily past the latter.

Oh yeah, I forgot. One old theory I had was that Cuckoo Condor ended up as a literal clock after Wario Land 4, given this ambiguous picture in the ending:

Well, many of the other pictures seem to be ending/after story pictures, like Wario hanging around with Hoggus from Doodle Woods. My theory is that Wario thought the boss would make a very interesting set piece for the Wario and kept it after winning.

I have a few theories/headcanons knocking around my head that would be good to share so why not.

#1. Wario tells everyone about his adventures from his games. Everytime there's a meet up for Kart Racing or Sports or whatever, Wario will let slip "oh hey did I tell ya about the time I beat up a pirate gang, or saved a world inside a music box or freed a pyramid" etc. The problem though is that noone believes him. Not a single person. They all think he's making up adventures so they'll think he's super cool and amazing like he tries to portray himself all the time. The best you get is Mario or Peach humouring him.

#2. When Wario hypnotized all the denizens of Mario Land in SML2, that included all the boss characters. So when Tatanga was sent off to kidnap Daisy as a distraction for Mario (as is apparently accepted fan-theory), he was under Wario's spell at the time too. Which is why, after the spell is broken and everyone is free, Tatanga never returned as an antagonist. He never really was one.

That's just some of my more concrete ones.

I would not be surprised about the first one being true at all. Wario definitely seems like the boastful kind, doesn't he?

For the second... I'm actually sure I've heard that before. Definitely seems likely the bosses are hypnotised, doesn't it?

Aw really? I had thought I was super special for coming up with it all on my own~. Oh well.

Also you ever think about how out of sync that story seems with Wario's current characterization. The way he is nowadays it seems out of place to imagine him using magic spells and stuff to hypnotize a whole load of people.

No kidding.

Wario's old characterisation was arguably closer to Rudy or the Shake King than modern day Wario.

Heck, the latter is basically what Wario could have become if he went full out evil.

Well, for another random theory; I suspect Ashley's parents are dead or something in the WarioWare series.

I mean, it's already a fairly common pattern for characters in fiction, isn't it?

And I do recall her longing for her parents, so that fits as well. I also sometimes theorise said characters were killed by some of the villains roaming around. I mean, it's very dangerous being a magician in a world filled with such dark forces as the Dark Star, Golden Diva, Shadow Queen, Antasma, etc, or such axe crazy psychos as Fawful, Rudy, King Boo, King K Rool, etc. If you're doing whatever witches and wizards might do when preparing magic spells or potions and bump into a Mario game level antagonist, you've pretty much got no chance. I can almost see the likes of King Boo using these strange individuals he came across as practice for Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon or something.

Could Red be her gaurdian Demon?

I was thinking that too, but in the context of the theory above it would seem he would be there to protect her or give her a friend, (what with her parents being gone) but if we were to think of it as like Ashley may have conjured him or he's there to assist her then yeah, it's kind of based on the context you're thinking of. But could he be both? Hmm:

Wario's a mutant with healing/regenerating powers like Wolverine from X-Men. This explains how he can survive things like being set on fire, being flatting, and becoming a zombie.

Come to think of it, how would wolverine recover from being completely squashed and flattened to the girth of a pancake? Whoops, off topic. My Wario theory is that Wario has reverse cholesterole. He eats stuff vegetables like apples and garlic to get fat.
