Anyone heard of this Mario comic, from Germany?

It has Wario as Scrooge from A Christmas Carol, being visited by three ghosts of Nintendo characters trying to get him to change his ways.

It has a few nice shout outs too. Like Wario's Bomb Shop, which is so obviously a Wario Blast reference:

Or Wario at his own grave, which always did look a bit ominous:

There's also apparently a somewhat cruel comment where because of Wario's meanness, kids are asking for Wario games, being told that no one cares about that 'mean guy' any more and buying Mario games instead. Kind of depressing given the state of the series at the moment, isn't it?

So yeah, thoughts on this old comic?

I would call this some type of constructive criticism for Nintendo. Especially because no one could care less about Wario. I don't care if anyone calls him a bad influence because that's a typical thing in games. I like how Wario is portrayed and I can accept him for that, being a cartoon Scrooge and all. So unless Wario has his own free game (which is an outrage that would never happen) I can assume Wario is currently hopeless and that Christmas story is very accurate.
