What should the roster for a multiplayer Wario Land game be like?

Saw this on Reddit, so I thought I'd ask here too.

Basically, let's assume the next Wario Land game has multiple playable characters, like Super Mario 3D World or Super Mario Bros Wonder. Which characters do you think would make sense as playable ones alongside Wario himself?

Would Waluigi make the cut, like many fan concepts suggest? Could Captain Syrup work alongside Wario for a change, sorta like Wario did with Mario in Super Mario 64 DS? Could WarioWare associates like Mona or Jimmy T be made playable?

What other characters could be playable in a Wario adventure game?

Nintendo was okay with making Daisy playable in Wonder, so it looks like they are easing up on the idea of letting certain characters appear in the platformers.

Mona is the one I most want playable. Maybe Captain Syrup can be an unlockable character after a boss fight. I think Waluigi has a bigger chance of being playable than them, because he is more well-known among Mario fans.

I can also see them creating a new sidekick character with limited gameplay like Player 2 Luma and Cappy.
