Where did they get the CD Images in Wario Land 4?

You know, these ones:

They look like they're digitised photos and 3D models, apart from the Shopkeeper/Mr Game and Watch ones.

So yeah. Were they custom made? Pictures from the early 00s equivalent of Google Search with a few edits made? Some Intelligent Systems office photo album?

I'm guessing they just took random stuff that was laying around, took pictures of it and edited them.
...and they made one of the staff members put on a makeshift Wario costume.

Yeah, it's quite interesting, because many are completely irrelevant.
A theory of mine is that they decided to have some fun and put these things in, originally as a placeholder. But they realised it was kind of cool and kept it that way.
