Which fire emblem game should i get?

Right so I've got a switch and I've been mucking around in smash by maining chrom and Marth. However the more I played as them the more I got curious about the FE series.
Even though I don't have byleth yet I plan to get them soon.
Soo which one should I get?
Three houses or engage?

I have no FE experience. Im going to guess and say Three Houses, because there are life sim elements and your profile pic is Makoto Yuki.

Definetly Three Houses. I dont know about the new upcoming Fire Emblem game, but from what I played from Three Houses, I think that you would be right up being "at home" if you get and lpay and experience Three Houses before the upcoming new one. Engage, from what I saw one close friend play it (he streamed it to me while we talk), it has a good difficulty and thinking, but it lacks on both the story and characters.

Hope that if you do get Three Houses, you ahve tons of fun with it
