Who do you think has a more diverse music taste?

I ask this because they both definitely have wide music tastes. At least in my headcanon.
First of all, they absolutely listen to rock and/or metal.

Spoiler: Why I think that

I'm not exactly sure what else they listen to, but I definitely see Wario listening to some weird stuff like maybe some Lemon Demon (side note, Wario CANONICALLY listens to COUNTRY MUSIC when he does pushups), and Sonic probably listens to a bit of electronic. Not a lot, but some.
But hey, that's just my headcanon. I wanna hear what you guys think.

That's an oddly specific question haha.
But to awnser the question, I don't know. I wanna say Sonic because he's the "carefree teen" trope while Wario kinda doesn't about almost anything except money. My take is that Wario only listens to country or music he made himself on the Crygor Game Engine in DIY because he's that much of a narcissist.

Sonic may be a kid that is too cool for school but what's the really mean? You listen to at least 2 genres? Wario has some kinda uncle energy or some other older guy vibe so he has listened to a few tunes in his time
