If it's Intelligent Systems, it would be hilarious if it completed the Fire Emblem canonisation process WarioWare is going through and designed one of the characters to look like Marianne or something but in the Rhythm Heaven artstyle. /s In all...

However they also added a biker outfit for Wario, not the one from WarioWare, but an original design instead: And it seems they really dig Wario doing his somewhat obscure body slam animation, making its first debut in VB Wario Land

Wario Land 3 had something like that, you get new treasures that give you new powers which allow you to reach treasures in other levels that opens up more levels.

    Baker Man updated their status.
finally got a new pc, expect new art &/or music soon

Just saw this on Reddit, and yeah, it sounds suspiciously like a remix of Rice Beach/the general level theme from Wario Land 1. Compare the music at 7:30 here: To the original here: So wait, does that mean the spinoffs are getting actual...

This isn't the first time Wario Land music has been in Mario Kart, interestingly. Wario Shipyard from MK7 (which also returns in this game) had a very intense fast-paced remix of the Wario Land leitmotif for its main theme too, but I'm so glad to...

The footage isn't where the audio is coming from. Notice how the track music keeps playing even after they finish the race instead of switching to a victory fanfare. The Wario Land music is coming from a different source off-screen. Still most...

Huh? The virtual game cards are an option? That's reassuring, I understood it as mandatory. Though, when I read up about it on the site, I didn't see it mentioned on their website, though it is mention on at the end their video that I somehow missed.

From what I can tell it doesn't seem to be the Mario Kart World version of Wario's Shipyard, since the player isn't anywhere near that track in the footage (they seem to be near Choco Mountain instead). Which kinda makes me wonder why it plays...

Unfortunately, economic reality (not just in the US) has made affordable Switch 2s a pipe dream. Australia has probably got it... not so bad, general electronics prices notwithstanding, so I'm hoping for a MKW bundle to fit in my budget. Also...

So the recent Nintendo Direct, we were able to really learn what the Switch 2 is gonna be along with some of the games we're getting. The games that were presented hype me a bit, especially with Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza and Kirby Air...

Very nice to see! Given that another costume seems inspired by Boshi and there are remixes of songs from Wario Land and Yoshi's Story, it seems there's a fair bit of spinoff representation here.
