Interesting, from the mariowiki link, mayu is japanese for eyebrow, and it also led me to a pre release screenshot where they had 4 fangs

I always thought they were bats too, given it's a night level. But yeah these are the scariest fucking birds I've ever seen WATthehell:

I thought they were bats too.. I looked up "Arab Bat" (since they mainly appear in Arabian Nights) and found this which I guess looks somewhat similar with its big nose.

Makes me wonder what else was changed. Beta 64 should cover Wario Land 4
