Wow, might be time to give SMBX a reinstall for such an event... though I'm not particularly in love with the moveset the built-in Wario has. I like the idea of a shopkeeper to spend coins at, but it feels wrong for him to use Mario's power-ups...
Yeah, the music is super cozy I agree. Now that I recall it felt amazing playing it while on summer vacation (except when I got stuck because of my lack of intelligence but we're not talking about that, ok?)

On archive.org, search up "wario mario manga." There are scans of interior pages and covers of Wario's appearances. I would also search the stuff from that thread, such as Super Mario Kun, Mario 4koma, and the Club Nintendo magazine.
