If they make a warioware game for the switch.....

well it's not like there aren't other folk other there asking for another Wario Land game. I think I even recall seeing the series mentioned in a top 10 of series people would wanna see revived (though I think it was just an online poll so take with a dash of salt of course).

As for the question at hand, I would seriously doubt they'd do a simple port over to the Switch. WarioWare Gold was something of a stunt to prove they were returning to form after Game & Wario. That and the game still being fairly recent would make it hard to get away with trying to just port it across.

Actually, I'd say an online poll would warrant taking less salt than any other source, assuming the poll wasn't on WarioForums or similar. If it was on Kotaku or whatever, it is likely just the author's personal opinion. When it's the result of a poll, it is apparent that there are several people that share the sentiment.

How would that work? though 99 Ashleys parachuting from a cargo plane would be pretty funny.
From a Tetris 99 perspective where you can store a microgame for later or make a game slightly more difficult for other people in-between loading microgames. If you lose say 1-4 microgames you stop and have to start over when everyone loses. But yeah that reality could work in a Boss microgame. Just title it War.io

As for me, i agree that i don’t want a remake of the other games ( like a switch port of the older Warioware games or Warioware Gold ), and something new that has to do with the switch controls and such. But i also thought of maybe they could both take the charm from the original games ( like the music and maybe the art style ) and maybe also add voice acting like in Warioware gold ( it worked great the first time, so why not here too? ) and add both classic microgames aswell as new ones. But they could also add more genres of games instead of 4 like in gold ( like maybe add Nature, IQ, Sci-Fi, etc. ) and they could also add more story in the game, and maybe add a new wacky character...idk, it’s a warioware tradition now that a new character ( or characters ) pop up in newer games.

Idk, this was just my silly idea, so feel free to disagree with me.

Doesn't seem too silly. Everything here seems like it'd work great in a new WarioWare game. A new character would be great to see (especially another microgame host with no connection to the existing cast), the voice acting would be great to see return, and a few extra microgame genres certainly wouldn't go amiss either.

Agree with the genre thing.
Remember when almost every character had their own genre?
For example, the aforementioned Sci-fi, IQ and nature.
DRIBBLE AND SPITZ, ORBULON AND KAT AND ANA RESPECTIVELY.
They really dumbed down the genres for Gold.

Can’t agree more with that. I wish they just added more genres and also added the old ones for the older characters, rather than just having four. Maybe Ashley could be fantasy, Penny could be science, Young Cricket could maybe be something of japanese culture or martial arts, and more! Characters like 9-Volt, 5-Volt and 18-Volt could still have nintendo as their genre, and maybe Mike and Fronk can have their own minigames and levels, rather than being pushed to the side. Just saying, they can be alot more creative. This is Warioware for crying out loud! I love it when they are being weird and creative! They can do something more than having just 4 genres!

I'm just glad they brought them back at all in Gold, the only games to have the genres were Inc. and D. I. Y. + Showcase. Plus, it lead to some really cool design choices, like Button Masher and Monster Chase being designed around the Fantasy theme, the latter of which got a complete name change as a result. Same thing with Basic Training becoming a Sports one! ¡Me encanta!

That last post makes me realise how neat it'd be if any returning microgames changed the 'theme' of the previous version, and how it'd make them feel a bit more fresh.
