Seems like there's more evidence now, since the Bowser Jr action figure pics are being copyright struck on both Reddit and Twitter. Seems at least Bowser Jr is in.

While I'd love to see him on the big screen, unfortunately I don't see it happening in this movie. Iirc he didn't appear in the games the movie is based on so it'd have been like Emerl appearing in the Sonic 3 Movie. Makes no sense

Heck, Emerl appearing in Sonic Movie 3 would make more sense than Wario since Prof. Gerald did make Emerl. Wario has strictly no link with SMG
