Unpopular Video Game Opinions

That was the best bit about the underground well. Oot and well just certain Zelda games have certain elements that tell you you're not just playing any other Nintendo game such as Mario or Kirby. The S&M dungeon did give me a spook as a child but that was half the fun since it forces your curiosity to explore. Even Bongo-bongo himself was a giant headless body when you do meet and fight him. Let' not forget our friend Deadhand either.

I also loved the well, and how spooky it was. It does make you wonder why in the world these scary things are under a well, haha.

Aidyn Chronicles had stuff like that too, like in Shamsuks tower, there are scary torture devices and other scary things like that, too. Shadowman had them as well. The N64 had some really cool scary themes sometimes : p

Oh, also wanted to mention OoT, I always really liked the mini dungeons in the game. Like the first two to come to mind, the well obviously. And also the ice caves where you get the iron boots. I always really liked those, more than most dungeons in the game. Wish other Zelda games had those little pretty mini dungeons.

Nintendo should revive Game&Watch gallery. I want a fifth one with ALL of them, may be difficult due to copyright like the popeye and peanuts ones so, MOST of them, i duuno i just want Game&Watch Gallery 5.
No love for the series...

Don't you mean a sixth one? People are always forgetting the original game (probably because it didn't come out in America, but still...)

Whoa... I never knew this game even existed. So this where the Gallery really started with.

It was actually a very common game when I was a kid. It's one of my favourite GB titles, however people who don't know it probably won't like it if they've only played the later games in the series (because it uses original characters instead of Mario ones). It was made by Nintendo R&D1 just like the later games, which makes total sense considering Gunpei Yokoi created Game & Watch and the Game Boy.

NOTE: In the USA "Game & Watch Gallery" was the first title in the series. However, it was called "Game Boy Gallery 2" in Australia because it was the sequel to "Game Boy Gallery". Look at the comparison below. They are the same game.

Yes, I agree completely. Game&Watch Gallery is way underrated and often overlooked. It has very simple gameplay and simple yet effective music.

On the topic of Metroid, I just want to say I really enjoyed Metroid Prime Hunters. Not sure how unpopular or popular it is this seems to be the most neglected Metroid game since Pinball but I thought the idea of multiplayer on the go battling friends was a neat idea sort of an expansion of the multiplayer system in Metroid Prime 2(only Metroid game to have a multiplayer system which wasn't good).

Peahats are far more terrifying than the ReDeads and Dead Hands.

Well, they would certainly make mincemeat out of a ReDead/Dead Hand, if they happened to get in the way. (That would be pretty hilarious, but really gross to watch)
I always thought the Peahats were like mowers/harvesters, and are kept in Hyrule Field to maintain the grass levels, cut shrubs, etc. A farming monstrosity!

Same. But still, getting attacked by a freaking pineapple with razor sharp blades is terrifying. Ganondorf's greatest Achilles heel is that he didn't plant a widespread army of these abominations across Hyrule Field in the future, I guarantee that he'd probably win if he did.

Quick Boomerang is way underatted, sure it doesn't dessimate everything but its quick, does more damage than the arm canon and, has tons of ammo. It easily replaces the standard arm canon and its good for more bosses than a good chunk of the weapons but not as much as metal blade and such. I see why its over shadowed by metal blade but i save it for crucial moments and use quick boomerang instead, by the by i actually fight Quick Man relatively early on like the 3rd or 4th choice so i get plenty of mileage out of his weapon. (even though its easier to fight metal man first but i'm too much of a hipster for that).
