For 3D, I'm honestly not sure. But for a 2D one, I always thought the people behind Metroid Dread would make a killer Wario Land game

I'm gonna go with Topaz Passage because of The Big Board and Domino Row The stages are fine, but they're a pain to backtrack if you fuck up.

Same. If we ever get another Wario Land, I really Hope they bring back the different difficulties. It worked then, and it worked for Metroid Dread, so I have no doubt it'd work again.
