Absolutely not

I have only known about Mario and the Music Box for 12 days and I could not have seen this coming

I tried to get it to guess Wario's Hen and this question came up. Ultimately, Akinator was not able to guess Wario's Hen.

Completely forgot about this topic but it got me thinking. I took a look at the credits for both games and didn't really see much overlap aside from the "Special Thanks" section, with R&D1 being listed under said section for Dr. Mario 64 which leads me to believe that R&D1 didn't make the game...

Definitely have a better picture of the high octane pacing you want in terms of telling the story. Even though it doesn't seem like the kind of game that would have a particularly deep story I can see how this kind of storytelling would keep one glued to what's going to happen next.

I could also see some of this as Nintendo testing the waters in terms of demand for non-Ware Wario games. Hopefully enough people play them!

I certainly hope so and this is definitely good momentum we're getting but I'm still cautiously optimistic. It takes comparatively less effort to rerelease old games than to make a new one. Perhaps I'm still too jaded but Wario Land isn't the only dormant series I'm a fan of so I'm used to these...
