Dangerous Duck

Imagine an action-platformer starring Denpu. The poor guy would have a hell of a time squeezing through doors and narrow corridors.
His cut-scene dialogue would be spectacular... "Boop-bloop-boom-bloop-boop" *Gestures with finger* "Boom-bloop-boop..."

I always loved the way Wario games handled the, uh, "dialogue". Like Wario's cackle in SML2, or Rudy's voice in WL3. It's not very common to see sound design like that in NES/GB games.

Yes!! That's a tradition R&D1 had in nearly all their GB/GBC/VB games. They just loved using 8-bit noises to create quirky, abstract vocal effects, especially with bosses in Balloon Kid, Metroid II, Kid Icarus: OM&M, etc. (The bird, rat, and witch in SML2 were great examples!)
