WARIO WORLD ON THE NSOEXP DEAL!!!

Even though I don't have a Switch 2 or plan on getting one anytime soon, I'm hyped as balls they're bringing back Wario World!

Hope this port adds in the Japanese version of the final boss, and I REALLY hope this gets enough people's attention for Nintendo to consider making a Wario World 2.

The thread was already started before me lol.
but I'm very happy about it.

This is the first time Wario World will be playable on another Nintendo console!
Now all we need are WL1 and WL2.
Also sort of wish they got WarioWare Twisted on there, but, that's fine. I guess they don't want to port any games that require a big gimmick like the gyroscope (even though they could probably just find another way to control it).

I don't think we'll be waiting too long for Wario Land 1 and 2. They were on 3DS Virtual Console, and they'll be on Switch Online in future too.

This is my chance to try again and beat it this time.

Good luck!

Utterly surreal watch. It almost feels like false advertising to hype up Wario World with dramatic action movie trailer music, but at the same time I don't think Wario himself would have it any other way. Very exciting to see another one of his platformers return!
Though it is odd how there seems to be no mention of Treasure whatsoever, in the video or description. I guess technically the developer doesn't need to be invoked for a simple emulation port? Still kind of disappointing to see, since they are the reason the game is the way it is.

Hmm that's weird, the ESRB site still has it with an E rating:

Only thing I can think of is that it's due to violence or something, since I don't recall any blood, gambling or swearing in the game. But given it's not really much more violent than DK Bananza, and that's an E rated game, I have no idea.

If this somehow translates to Wario World 2, I will cry tears of joy... and garlic
They randomly brought back Super Mario Galaxy 1+2 and even made a movie for it, so if enough people hype up Wario World and maybe some of the Wario Lands then I'm almost certain Nintendo may bring the Wario platformers back.

Me and a friend during a VC did discuss the idea of them doing a Odyssey or Bananza style game for Wario, which I hope is a genuine possibility. Anything to get Wario some platforming+fighting action.

Finally you can play Wario World legally for less than 800 dollars! Nice to see some attention for Wario recently with Wario Land 4 that also came to the NSO in February.
