Poll Which of these series do you associate Mad Scienstein with?

Personally I've always assumed he was a Wario Land character, since his appearances in Wario Land 3, 4 and Dr Mario 64 had him fit in well with the rest of the cast.

But since he's technically from a game called 'For the Frog the Bell Tolls', what one do you associate him with?

Wario Land because I actually grew up with that series. Even if it's not WarioForums this poll will have a Wario bias. I wonder how much Japan cares for For the Frog the Bell Tolls and if he's considered iconic to that game with Wario appearances being cameos.


On the subject of this character, isn't it a little odd his Land 4 appearance resembles the Frog appearance with his butt head but in Land 3 he's got that doohickey on his head? When I was younger long before I knew of the other game, I thought Land 3 and 4 were just completely different npcs

I played through a little bit of For the Frog the Bell Tolls to get some Japanese practice but haven't made it to scienstein yet and I completely forgot he was from that game. Maybe it'd be different if I played far enough but I'm gonna have to go with Wario Land
