That's actually not true, if you remember, in Wario Land 3 and 4, if you wait a bit still, Wario will close his mouth. Furthermore, we have Puffy Wario where he keeps his mouth closed and maybe Ball o' String Wario (in your profile pic) where we don't know if he's doing the grimmace or not.
I find calling it Shake It is obviously easier and snappier but I'm so used to the European name that I tend to call it by "The Shake Dimension". When I talk to people about the game in a video, I use both.
Yes, I understand that, because I personally love the design, and I stand for my opinion. That doesn't break my point, though.
Also, when I think Bowsette, I think of this kind of artwork, not the nsfw and erotic aberrations:
I see your point. And true it was just a harmless fantasy, that was just my interpretation of it. But look, it's like that moment when a kid says something funny without really doing on purpose, the parents laugh and it's just that, it was unexpected and turned out funny at the time. But then...
Well, the comic's joke was them getting back to Peach and it was a weird joke, tbh. But I'm talking about Bowsette only, it's satire against the poor creation that is Peachette, and I think it was a good "message" to Nintendo to stop making uninspired characters.
It doesn't bother me either, it's pretty usual to see a joke go too far. The issue I see is that Bowsette was a good joke, very clever and I loved the design. All the other what-not-ettes popping up are just stupid and it's just not funny, that's all. Again, Bowsette is not just some girlified...
Oh totally! That game never needed Peach, they have Daisy they can use, they could make an actual new character, but no, that's what they came up with. Just lazy.
And just fyi, the Super Crown is Toadette's Super Acorn. It does the exact same thing, plus the added benefit of saving you from falling in pits. I don't see what's new here. And let's not forget that Toadette literaly turns into Peach with a new look. GG Nintendo. 10 points for creativity.
I saw the original idea of Peachette as a poor attempt by Nintendo to make Peach playable in the game. She looks just like Peach but with a nice Toadette look to her attire.
The way Bowsette was introduced was a harmless joke based on the ridiculous ending of Mario Odyssey (seriously, Peach is...
The joke with Bowser was funny, I got into it and was even using Bowsette as a profile picture, but now it's just too much, specially when people are now just waifu-ing every character...
