Usually I play two or three games regularly at one time, I think, but currently I'm playing seven! :o Rayman 3 (on GameCube), Dewy's Adventure, Spanky's Quest (on Switch Online), Asterix & Obelix XXL (on GBA), Re-Volt (on N64), Yoshi's Woolly World and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Yes, the save got corrupted from the ripping device, I'm sure of that. In your case: I'm almost positive that that's due to grime on the cartridges. Have you cleaned them? When carts are very dirty the game just won't load (and the 'Nintendo' logo will be missing or corrupted), but sometimes...
