Are the constant Ashley threads/icons/etc. really that much of a bother?

Well, it was just an idea that came to mind while looking at Wario Land sprites and I remembered Ashley had some sprites, so I thought how fun it'd be to have her playable in a Wario Land game.

So I put her side-by-side with Wario. Like, with ground pound and charging attacks. Nothing over the top, just to show an example or something like that.
 
Well, I thought this was about the Ashley Land proposal, but looks like I had it all wrong. Since, he did in fact start getting mad a little after I posted it and thought he had enough of my ideas or something.
 
Not really with Wario. It's just an option to play as Ashley if you'd like. If you play as Wario the prize will be Money or something. Play as Ashley to collect more ingredients. Coins and all that good stuff will be replaced with stuff that would go into a spell.

But that's just that. I'd much rather just Ashley Land eshop title that doesn't effect anything, just a fun game.
 
I think my dear, the thread's name is "Are the constant Ashley threads/icons/etc. really that much of a bother?" and not "Opinions/Ideias for Ashley on a Wario Land game yadda yadda".

First, if you really love the character so much, you wouldn't do those absurd spams/comments by trashing every thread (especially the ones who are totally unrelated) and trying to sabotage our nervs 24h/7d with Ashley. You just destroy Ashley's image even more.
If you want your own Ashley Thread go to "WarioWare" section and type it again but next time with logic and some respect. But I think you don't really understand the meaning of "respect" every individuals threads in this forum, especially when I see the previous comments on this thread.

Yes, the thread is called that. Doesn't mean I should ignore questions though. I thought this was all about the idea I posted. I was saying why I came up with the idea. If Chance Time wanted to call me out he would have done it else where. The thread is called "are the constant ashley threads icons etc really that much of a bother." Not "For Fucks sake, Kyon shut up about Ashley."

EDIT : I'm not gonna continue this. No "to be continued! Will Kyon make it past this?! find out on the next post!" sort of thing. This carried on way too long.

Lemme give you some homework dude. Like, a nice little exercise that might help you a lot in life:
Go to one of your own posts (particularly the ones in threads where they don't belong) and replace every mention of Ashley with 9-Volt or any character you don't particularly care about. Imagine they come from someone else. This 9-Volt fan derails threads, disregards Ashley completely or even calls her uninteresting just because his mind doesn't let him think of anything that is a different viewpoint other than ''9Volt deserves the world and every other character ain't worthy''. and he doesn't even say WHY or explains this obsessive love for the character, he just goes on and on about him being cute.

You'd be slightly annoyed at this person, right? You might even be slightly annoyed at 9-Volt for seeing him everywhere, too.

If you imagined the scenario properly and did feel slightly annoyed, congratulations! now you know what the average user feels when they see your posts.

Now that you learned this valuable lesson about empathy, you can choose between toning down your attitude and being considerate, or carrying on being a fanbrat. The first grants you +1000 Respect Points you can spend to gain Friends and make valuable Discussion, the latter turns you into endless laughing stock.

Go for it, Kyoncito. I will like you no matter the outcome.

I just don't understand. Why cant we let ashley fans be ashley fans. Wario fans ve wario fans. And just suck it up and embrace each character? xD

Ashley really knows what he's saying. Let Ashley fans be Ashley fans, no wrong there! we're still part of Wario's fandom thanks to the best witch (in my opinion) in gaming, Ashley!

So what if there is a lot of Ashley threads!? keeps this site busy, because there is always something to talk about Ashley. Too many Ashley icons? no such thing! everyone should have one, Ashley related things are welcomed.

It's mostly thanks to Ashley I found this site.
 
Well, if it has nothing to do with Ash-wee I'm not sure why I'm here. Ashley or anything Ashley related whatsoever has nothing to do with anything, anything tracing to her is a lie!

I actually wanted to avoid this discussion and won't go into the actual reasons why people are annoyed, since I don't want any drama, I just want to say that BigMagma is absolutely right, in that non of this has to do with Ashley specifically.

Anyone who has been on this forum for at least a year will easily be able to tell that nobody here has a beef with Ashley or her fans,the only time there ever was someone that did (in the form of Wario Man) we didn't accept it, just go and ask Nintengasm about how furious I in particular was at Wario Man, because of how much harrasment Gasm had to deal with, simply because he happens to be a Ashley fan, if anyone acts dickish towards someone else simply because he/she likes a character and wants to talk about it, we won't accept it, why should we?

I'm mainly saying this for those that haven't seen these certain events in the past months unfold, but the idea that people just get annoyed at other users for liking Ashley is a big missunderstanding.

Again, I won't go into details what the actual reasons are, especially since I don't want to do any namecalling (not to mention I tried to solve it twice, both times failed and I'm not in the mood for a third time), I do want to say thought that I'm really tired of this spat, it's been going on for a while now and has made the forums far more heated then they need to be.
