Chatroom?

I just joined the forum and was wondering - is there a chatroom?
I haven't found it, if there is, but it would be really nice if this forum had a chatroom, so I could talk to all you guys in real time

I can consider it, although server resources might be a worry if we don't use IRC or something.

But a chat room would be nice to have!

Well, you guys could create a chatroom on 99chats.com for example, make it private on the 99chats website, then put it on the forum in a page that only registred members can acsess
Or with any other free chat server, you could do the same thing

True. Although if all fails, I guess I could use the old chat system from my other forum.

Hm, what do all you people like so much about a chatroom? What I don't like about it is that it often doesn't save it's posts. So when someone says something important you can't look it back up later because the newer messages have most likely made it unfindable.

Agreed. I think a forum is better suited for debating and discussion, not for a chat room.

That doesn't mean I'm against it, though. If enough people want it, I don't see the hurt in slapping one on the site.
